Provide dedicated technical support services to customers who contract for Company’s managed services.

Responsibilities:
-Provide quality, “hands on” technical support to managed services customers
-Facilitate client meetings to gather the necessary information to develop detailed technical procedures
-Review and enhance client’s system restoration processes and documented procedures. Document customers’ processes and procedures utilizing meetings with clients at Company and clients’ locations, and utilizing electronic communications
-Provide technical training and support to internal and external customers

Qualifications:
-College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum two years system experience in a hands-on production or support capacity utilizing Windows server systems.
-Hands-on experience with backup/recovery tools (Backup Exec, Commvault, VMware etc).
-Knowledge of computer center disaster recovery techniques.
-Experience installing, configuring, supporting leading database and ERP products are a plus.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to prepare high quality technical documentation is a must.
-Ability to work unsupervised and to provide all deliverables on time.
-Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
-Ability to learn quickly in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
-Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office products.
-Windows / Intel / x86
-Hands-on experience installing and configuring Windows server environments.
-Hands-on experience performing System State backups and restorations.
-Hands-on experience installing and configuring VMware and/or Linux is a plus.
-Ability to support other platforms (SUN, HP9000, AS/400, DEC, Network etc.) a plus.
